We spoke with Josh King, President of Argano, about why his business thrives at 9th Street
Center.
Why 9th Street Center?
We knew we wanted to be in Northeast Minneapolis. We had a vision for the space — high ceilings, open feel— and we welcomed the opportunity to creatively build it out. Our team truly loves the space. It’s been great for recruiting and retaining talent, and I love bringing clients and partners in as well.
What do you like about 9th Street Center?
I like the unique businesses that are in the building. We’ve found some great ways to collaborate with our neighbors.
What is your favorite neighborhood amenity?
The neighborhood has come a long way since we moved in. I love the health and wellness energy of the block — Embrace North, Planet Fitness, soccer as well as coffee, pickleball and the bike shop.
What do you like about working with Hillcrest?
Hillcrest has been very responsive whenever we’ve had issues, and they’ve always been honest and fair. They've been easy to work with. Joe checks in from time to time, and it's been a great partnership over the years.
What do you like most about your space?
I love the balance of open, collaborative spaces and plenty of conference rooms. The natural light in the main room really stands out, and it’s fun seeing people’s reactions the first time they walk in. We’ve also had time to add meaningful pieces that reflect our team and culture.
